“Jona” is a loose interpretation of an old type specimen created by the foundry Roos & Junge of Offenbach am Main, Germany. It is characterized by a noticeable black weight, a low contrast, and very short ascenders. Nevertheless, it remains highly legible in small type sizes and is therefore suitable for use as both a body text as well as a headline or display font.
