Berlin is home to hair salons, rented apartments, tailors, restaurants, driving schools, pharmacies, Spätis, and much more. These make up the streets right past Berliners’ doorsteps, forming a wildly varied world of design – one that is often unjustly mocked or which even goes entirely ignored. “Screening Berlin” displays and analyses the everyday design of Berlin shop façades, drawing upon a collection of around 1,200 photos.
