Summer 2009, Concepts for future political campaigns

Supervisor: Wim Westerveld

Students: Christoph Engelhard, Tilmann Hielscher, Stefan Kirste, Nele Konopka, Alexandra Samulenkova, Max Sauermoser, Andrea Schulz

This project began with a workshop in The Hague together with students from the Royal Academy of Art, the Hague. At the workshop, students debated and researched fundamental questions regarding the visual appearance of campaigns for the 2009 EU elections. Afterwards, the students created various campaign media (posters, pamphlets, manifestos, magazines, websites) for three political parties. This work was exhibited in The Hague in the spring of 2010 and documented in a retrospective publication released in Berlin that covered the interactions between The Hague and Berlin facilitated by this project.
