300 Jahre Akademie der Künste und Hochschule der Künste
This catalog accompanied an exhibition celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Akademie der Künste Berlin and the Hochschule der Künste (now known as the UdK Berlin). We chose to develop a lucid, fluid layout method with which the images could be placed closely to the relevant texts. We had to work efficiently within the available catalog space and handle an enormous amount of images and texts, so we designed this layout principle and open grid system to let us frequently vary the composition between text and image and create empty spaces where the images need it.
