Novels
Book covers act as small posters, piquing potential readers’ curiosity about a book’s content. Without revealing too much, they should offer a tantalizing taste of the book’s essence. A small visual hint or typographical clue can suffice to create this intrigue; there should be room left for interpretation. Selecting the right typography, color, and composition often suffices when it comes to creating the right “feeling” – within the small space available, the shape of a letter, the visual impression left by an image, and the placement of text can easily evoke the desired atmosphere.
