Exclusief interview met Anthon Beeke
This “exclusive” interview with Anthon Beeke was commissioned as part of the Views on Typography project at the Academy of Fine Arts Arnhem (now known as the ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design in Arnhem), which featured well-known Dutch designers and typographers. I contacted Anthon Beeke and interviewed him in Amsterdam. In contrast with Beeke’s striking, expressive work, the booklet is deliberately elegant and subdued in design, featuring the classicist font Bembo and gold as the spot color. The images of Beeke’s work are stamp-sized. The printing work was sponsored by the printing company Casparie from Heerhugowaard.
