Karl Philip Moritz – Reisen eines deutschen in Italien
Karl Philipp Moritz was the twin brother of Goethe, plagued by bad luck. This novel follows the travels of this German in Italy and conveys the essence of the man’s melancholy experience at the end of the 18th century. For the typesetting, I chose DTL Romulus, an elegant, humanist font, and used a robust type size to evoke book designs popular during Moritz’s lifetime.
