Mart Stam Events
We designed publications and event announcements released by the Mart Stam Stiftung and Mart Stam Gesellschaft, which provide grants to students at the weißensee academy of art berlin. These foundations are named after Mart Stam, a Dutch architect and industrial designer who served as Rector of the weißensee academy of art berlin in the early 1950s. The Mart Stam Stiftung frequently organizes symposia in cooperation with the Royal Dutch Embassy of Berlin. We created a dialog on interdisciplinary themes in the field of art and design in the Netherlands and Germany by juxtaposing cultural differences. The aim here was for both countries to learn from each other and work together whenever possible – as well as to offer inspiration beyond the usual scope. The Mart Stam Stiftung uses the DTL Nobel typeface to honor Stam’s Dutch roots and the spirit of ideologists a century ago.
