Peter James Bowman – Ein Glücksritter
Prince Pückler-Muskau was a dazzling figure, known for his erotic escapades and embroilment in scandals during the early 19th century. He schemed together with his wife, plotting their divorce so that he could marry a member of England’s elite and gain access to her wealth. The Prince sent his partner in crime daily missives about his experiences, which were collected in Tour of a German Prince. In this novel, author Peter James Bowman described Prince Pückler’s marriage plot, using the original letters, the Pückler archive, and British sources as references. For the typesetting, I chose FF Nexus, incorporating squiggly details within a slender page layout to evoke and slightly emphasize a literary feel.
